Daddy's Battle for Berklee 7/23/09
Mike played at the Daddy's Junky Music store in Boston, MA for the finals of "Battle for Berklee". He was one of 11 finalist competing with great guitarists from Massachusetts, Ohio, Oregon, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey and Aruba. The contestants were given a tour and reception at Berklee College of Music. The judges included T. Lavitz from the "Dixie Dreggs", Berklee Guitar faculty, Julien Kasper, Gary Hoey formerly with the band "Boston" and now with "Ernie and the Automatics" and Barry Goudreau. The host for the evening's performances was Daddy himself, Fred Bramante. Mike did not win this event but he sure had fun trying.
